PORTLAND -- Two brazen thieves targeted a popular Portland food cart while it was open for business.
The Sausage Shack food cart at Southwest 3rd Avenue and Southwest Stark Street was burglarized in broad daylight.
While the owner and manager were stocking shelves, two thieves who were pretending to hang out by the cart stole their tablet and cell phone.
It was just jacked. All of a sudden, it was gone. I didn't even notice the phone was gone right away, said manager Christopher Grey.
The tablet was being used as the cart's register and contained at least two-and-a-half years of information they can't access anymore.
Anyone with information was asked to call Portland police.
