PORTLAND -- Police arrested the suspected drive in a Southeast Portland hit-and-run that injured a 20-year-old woman Monday.
Charlotte Claudel, 20, suffered traumatic injuries when she was struck by pickup truck near Northeast Glisan Street and 60th Avenue, according to Lt. Robert King with the Portland Police Bureau.
Officers on Thursday arrested 24-year-old Willie Xenophen Hurst III for assault, hit and run, reckless driving, and reckless endangerment.
Claudel was released from the hospital and continues to recover from her injuries.

The driver of the pickup left the scene and abandoned the vehicle in the North Tabor neighborhood.
