Someone stole it and just 20 minutes later, wrote on his wife's Facebook page.That got him nervous so he cancelled his service and called the police.
It's was gibberish, said Nguyen. But it's an invasion of my privacy.
After all, there's personal information on that phone such as private emails, Facebook information, wedding pictures and the address to his home.
The less information is out there, the less chance you can become a victim to identity theft, said Lt. Michael Rouches, with Hillsboro police.
But what he didn't know may help you out.
If you're in the market to buy an iPhone, either Verizon or AT&T, make sure to enable the Locate my iPhone feature.
If you have a T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, or Sprint Android phone, you can get apps like Lookout , Lost Phone , and Autowipe .
If you've already lost your phone, there's an app called Plan B and it will locate it for you.
