DUNDEE, Ore. -- Five days after Jennifer Huston, a mother of two from Dundee disappeared, the Facebook page dedicated to finding her has racked up more than 31,000 likes.
Among those commenting on the page titled, Find Jennifer Huston were several people who claimed to be conducting their own searches for the missing mom.
On Monday, Chelan Rene Russ wrote, I packed lunches and took the kids to look for Jennifer earlier today, from Newberg up into the country past Camp Yamhill.
Another post by Matt Washburn read: I drove Warned Hill Rd, Fairview Rd, Sunnycrest Rd to the end of the Red Hills Rd slowly in each direction yesterday.
As the shares, likes and comments poured in, Jennifer Huston s friends and family took to nearby parks to search for any sign of her.
A family spokesman told KGW that on Tuesday a handful of searchers went to the Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge in Sherwood, Champoeg State Park in Newberg and to Bald Peak State Scenic Viewpoint outside of Hillsboro.
There was no official police search for Huston on Tuesday.
