PORTLAND After a week of clouds and rain, the sun will come out Monday, with temperatures reaching 80 degrees by mid-week.
Sunday should see off-and-on showers with temps in the mid- to upper-50s. Mt. Hood could get up to 8 inches of snowfall at Timberline, making for a great day of spring skiing.
Then, on Monday, the sun should come out and kick off a week of fantastic weather.
Monday will be in the low-60s, but Tuesday could hit the low to mid-70s.
Then, KGW Meteorologist Jim Donovansaid metro area residents could see their first 80-degree days this year on Wednesday and Thursday.
Even if we don t hit 80 degrees, KGW Meteorologist NickAllard said we should soon see the warmest weather of the year so far, beating the previous high of 74 degrees.
