PORTLAND -- Hundreds of veterans were in the stands Monday night as the Blazers took on the Pistons. And the game featured several moments dedicated to the U.S. Armed Forces.

Four veterans received special recognition, including Kevin Pannell, who served in Iraq until a grenade exploded at his feet in 2004. Pannell was honored with a special coin at halftime as a thank you for his service.

An estimated 600 veterans were in attendance. The Blazers beat the Pistons, 109-103.
