PORTLAND A judge has again postponed divorce proceedings for the father and stepmother of missing Portland boy Kyron Horman.
Kyron s father Kaine Horman filed for divorce shortly after his son disappeared in June of 2010 from Skyline School in suburban Portland.
Judge Henry Kantor delayed the case until August 1 of this year.
Law enforcement authorities informed him they had learned his wife, Terri Moulton Horman, allegedly tried to solicit a landscaper to kill him about six months before Kyron's disappearance. Terri Horman was the last person known to have seen Kyron.
He was 7 when he disappeared. Last fall, a Portland judge ruled that a lawsuit filed against Terri Horman by the boy s biological mother, Desiree Young, could go forward.
Young alleges Terri Horman has knowledge of what happened to the boy.
Terri Horman sought the delay, saying the suit would be a proxy for a criminal investigation.
Detectives have focused on her, although they haven't called her a suspect.
