On the Willamette River Thursday, kayakers and wake boarders were out enjoying the sunshine.

The Clackamas County Marine Patrol said it will be out in full force, checking to make sure boaters have the required life jackets and safety equipment on board.

They ll also keep a close watch out for people who may be boating while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

It's going to be nice and hot, so refrain or reduce how much you're taking in, advised Doug Olsen with marine patrol.

No rain is expected in the 7-day forecast and temperatures will range from 80 to 90, according to KGW meteorologists.
