PORTLAND, Ore. -- A Portland man pleaded guilty Monday to sexually assaulting his uncle and his grandmother in July 2014, police said.
Police were called just after 10 p.m. on July 1 to the report of a sexual assault inside a home in the Piedmont neighborhood.
Officers arrived and learned that the suspect sexually assaulted his 82-year-old grandmother and his 49-year-old uncle then ran out of the home, said Portland police Sgt. Greg Stewart.
Police could not find the suspect, 34-year-old Willie Andre Johnson, that night, but his family members called 911 to report the following morning that he was inside the McDonald's on Northeast Weidler Street.
Responding officers found Johnson and took him into custody on charges of attempted rape, unlawful sexual penetration, sex abuse, kidnapping and assault.
His sentencing will take place on April 13. Stewart said Johnson will likely get 15 years in prison.
Johnson was already a registered sex offender, after previously being charged with first-degree rape.
