PORTLAND Police arrested a suspect in the stabbing of a man and a woman in Southeast Portland Saturday afternoon.
Officers charged 16-year-old Fernando Carrillo with assault, he was held in juvenile detention.
Officers found the victims after being called to a home in the 600 block of Southeast 162nd Avenue around 3:30 p.m., said Lt. Robert King with the Portland Police Bureau.
Both victims were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, King said.
The suspect was a described as a Hispanic man who was known to the victims. Authorities established a large perimeter and called in a police dog to assist in the search.
