TROUTDALE, Ore. Reynolds High School students and staff, along with other community members, marked the one-week anniversary of a deadly shooting at the school with a candlelight vigil Tuesday night.
Freshman student Emilio Hoffman was killed in the shooting. A teacher was injured when he was grazed by a bullet.

The vigil started at 9 p.m. on the school's football field. Hundreds of people attended. It was a night for healing and hope, but it was also a night to extend sympathies to both families that lost a son.
Even though the lives that were lost that day are not here with us physically, said student Rosie Reyes, they still remain in our hearts and are still with us here every day.
It was a week some might rather forget, added parent Joe Teeny. To do that, we'd have to forget about Emilio and that just can't happen.
