PORTLAND A Bend woman was seriously injured after rolling her pickup truck on Highway 197 south of Maupin Wednesday morning.

Just before 8 a.m., 36-year-old Lanette Keller pulled out to pass another vehicle, lost control on black ice, slid toward the shoulder, and rolled several times through a fence, said Lt. Gregg Hastings with Oregon State Police.

Keller was trapped in the overturned truck for almost an hour before emergency crews got to the scene. Rescuers pulled Keller from the truck and flew her by helicopter to a Bend hospital, Hastings said.
