OREGON CITY, Ore. -- A man suspected of using his then 7-month-old son as a human shield during a standoff with police is now wanted by police.

Raleigh Reynolds was due in court Thursday but failed to appear, so a bench warrant was issued for his arrest. His trial is slated to begin on June 21, if he's found by then.

Reynolds is suspected of fleeing from police during a burglary investigation in April in Estacada and using his son as a shield during a standoff.

This isn't Reynolds' first encounter with police. He was also arrested in February after he inadvertently dialed 911 just before a drug deal.
