WOODBURN, Ore. Six people were injured Saturday when a minivan crashed into the back of a tanker trailer on an Interstate 5 onramp north of Woodburn.

Just before 10 a.m., the van smashed into the back of the tanker on the northbound ramp from Donald/Aurora near milepost 278, said Sgt. Mark Davie with Oregon State Police.

Conditions were reportedly foggy, but police have not determined the official cause of the crash.

Six people in the van were taken to Portland hospitals. One person had critical injuries, Davie said.
