PORTLAND - A man accused of running down a group of people outside a Gresham restaurant took a plea deal on Tuesday.

Brad Eason was supposed to begin his trial, but instead pleaded no contest to attempted assault and DUII. His sentencing was scheduled for July 30.

Eason was arrested after crashing into a group of 12 people outside a Shari's restaurant in Gresham in January, hitting four people. No one hit was seriously injured.
