CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) -- A 66-year-old retired Corvallis High School music teacher has been stripped of his teaching license.
The state Teacher Standards and Practices Commission on Feb. 11 permanently revoked the teaching license of Marshall H. Price because of inappropriate conduct involving students.
The Corvallis Gazette-Times reports Price between 2007 and 2009 made inappropriate comments to a female student. Investigators say he made a similar comment to the student in October 2010 after she graduated.
Price was band director at Corvallis High School, Linus Pauling Middle School and Westland Middle School from 2003 to 2011.
The revocation also was tied to 1974 incidents when Price taught in Douglas County.
Price declined to comment Friday.
