PORTLAND Kids who want to learn how to play basketball from the NBA's man of the hour Damian Lillard will get a chance through a new summer camp at the Multnomah Athletic Club.

Just three days after he made what some of have called the most important shot in Blazer s history, Lillard announced he was opening a new summer basketball camp.

The Damian Lillard Basketball Camp will run July 8-11 at the Multnomah Athletic Club. The camp is for boys and girls ages 6 to 16 and teaches team participation and personal development. The camp will feature guest speakers, a low coach-to-camper ratio, several games per day and daily contests.

Lillard will be in attendance helping kids hone their fundamentals, according to a media statement.

The four-day camp costs $325 and kids get a jersey, NBA prize pack and autographed photo of Lillard.
