ASTORIA, Ore. (AP) -- A Seattle man involved in a head-on collision that killed two Seaside, Ore., men last month has been arrested.
Oregon State Police said Thursday that 38-year-old Sterling Frinell was booked into the Clatsop County Jail on charges of manslaughter, assault and drunken driving.
According to investigators, Frinell was driving with a suspended Washington license April 19 when his car crossed the center line on Highway 101 near Warrenton and struck a 1974 Volkswagen Bug.
The two men in the Volkswagen died at the scene.
