VANCOUVER -- A three-vehicle collision late Thursday night involving speeding and alcohol left one person dead and four with injuries, according to Vancouver police.
About 10:30 p.m. a Honda driven by Mark Gant, 20, of Vancouver struck a vintage GMC pickup, then both vehicles struck a Chevy S10 pickup at P and 33rd streets.
The driver of GMC died at the scene, said police spokeswoman Kim Kapp.
The driver and passenger in the Chevy pickup were taken to the hospital and released after treatment. Gant and his passenger were taken to the hospital. Their condition was not available.
The accident remains under investigation. Kapp said potential charges of vehicular homicide, reckless driving, DUI, and hit and run may result from the investigation.
