HOOD RIVER, Ore. Eastbound lanes of Interstate 84 were blocked for an hour and a half Saturday after an SUV pulling a large trailer jackknifed and crashed near Hood River.

At 12:40 p.m., the 68-year-old driver lost control when his trailer started fishtailing as he drove downhill, Oregon State Police said.

The trailer flipped over and crashed into the center guard rail damaging 130 feet of the barrier.

The driver and his 63-year-old wife were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
