VANCOUVER -- A woman has been arrested in connection with a series of purse thefts involving senior citizens, police said.
Over the past six weeks Vancouver police received several reports that a woman was knocking on doors and asking to use people's phones. After she was allowed into the homes, victims would find their wallets, purses or money missing. Most of the victims were in their 70s and 80s.

Kapp said the investigation was ongoing.
