PORTLAND -- Rivers in the Coast Range and northern Willamette Valley were cresting as rains Friday and Saturday, with another storm front moving in late Saturday into Sunday.
Flood warnings continued Saturday for the Pudding River at Aurora.
A slide closed the historic Columbia Gorge Highway two miles west of Troutdale. A slide also temporarily closed Highway 224 near milepost 45.
Sunday might see snow levels down to about 500 feet, with a chance of seeing some wet snow in Portland.
I'd say throughout the day Sunday, the snow level will be around 500 to 1,000 feet but early on and late in the day we could see some light, lower elevation snow, KGW Meteorologist Nick Allard said. There will be very little moisture, so I don't expect problems. Still though, with the Shamrock Run it could be interesting.
