GRESHAM, Ore. -- A woman and her two small children were pulled from their flipped SUV that had skidded off the road after hitting a patch of ice in Wood Village Wednesday morning.

Multnomah County Sheriff's deputies said the Ford Explorer rolled over into a culvert near NE Holiday Street around 10 a.m.

Witnesses stopped and helped pull the 28-year-old woman and her two small children out after the back window had been kicked out.

The two children were taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The woman was not hurt.
