SHERWOOD, Ore. -- An Aloha man was killed and another was injured in a two-vehicle crash north of Sherwood Wednesday morning, police said.
A Cadillac SUV driven by Todd Spencer Ringheim, 50, collided with a dump truck just after 6:30 a.m. on Southwest Roy Rogers Road at Scholls-Sherwood Road, according to the Washington County Sheriff's Office.
Ringheim died at the scene and the dump truck driver was taken to the hospital. He was expected to survive.
Ringheim was southbound on Roy Rogers when he crossed the centerline on a curve for undetermiend reasons and struck the dump truck, police said. Both vehicles were traveling near the speed limit.
Roy Rogers Road was closed in both directions while crews cleared the scene.
