TROUTDALE, Ore. A Troutdale mom rushed to her children's rescue after they fell through the ice on a small pond Friday morning.

Around 10 a.m., the kids, who are around the ages of 8 and 10 years old, went out on the ice at Sunrise Park. Their mom watched as the kids broke through the ice and fell into the water. The woman rushed to pull them to safety, according to Jason McGowan with Gresham Fire & Emergency Services.

One of the boys was reportedly up to his neck in water.

The three then walked about 8 minutes back to their apartment to call 911. They were then taken to Mt. Hood Medical Center.
