BEAVERTON, Ore. -- On January 15, 2013, a Beaverton man was killed by a hit-and-run vehicle. Police still have not found the driver or the vehicle.

Harley Rocher, 18, was walking to his girlfriend's house just before 8 p.m. when he was struck from behind on Southwest Laurelwood Avenue, said Beaverton police spokesman Mike Rowe.

Evidence at the scene indicated that a teal or turquoise vehicle struck Rocher and left the scene. Rowe said tips have been coming in for a year, but nothing that has led investigators to the suspect.

Originally we asked for the public to look for specifically a teal colored vehicle and now we ask the public to think back to any vehicle they might have seen with damage and possibly a teal colored bumper or hood, Rowe said.

Police released a photo (left) of a paint chip that was found on Rocher's clothing.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Beaverton police at 503-629-0111.
