PORTLAND -- Firefighters had a tough time with a 2-alarm fire in Southeast Portland overnight.

Crews arrived at the scene along Southeast Flavel at around 11:30 Friday night.

It took them several hours to get this fire put out. Crews were forced to take a defensive stance when battling the fire fairly quickly.

Firefighters said the homeowner had a lot of possessions, making it difficult for them to get around inside the home.

The homeowner was not injured.
