PORTLAND With the help of drug-sniffing K9 Spencer, sheriff s deputies seized 14 pounds of pot, half a pound of cocaine, and $32,000 in cash during a traffic stop Friday evening.

Just before 5:30 p.m., deputies pulled over a 2012 Toyota Tundra pickup near milepost 11 on eastbound lanes of Interstate 84, said Lt. Steve Alexander with the Multnomah County Sheriff s Office.

Spencer then alerted deputies that drugs were likely in the truck and a subsequent search revealed the trove of drugs and cash.

Deputies arrested 24-year-old Francisco Flores and 29-year-old Anthony White, both of Myrtle Creek, and charged them with possession and distribution of a controlled substance, Alexander said.
