PORTLAND -- A Portland man was arrested for using a pen camera to spy on a co-worker as she used a breast pump, police said.

Russell Gordon, 44, was arrested for second-degree burglary and invasion of privacy after the victim discovered the camera and turned it in to her supervisors, said Portland Police Sgt. Pete Simpson.

Investigators determined that Gordon placed the camera on the victim's desk to capture her use of a breast pump. There's no other suspect but this man, on video quite clearly setting this pen in the area, Simpson said. Gordon was booked into the Multnomah County Jail.

The camera was discovered in the office, inside MB&G consulting firm in Downtown Portland, where Gordon had worked for more than a decade as the IT manager. Gordon was fired the following day.

We have all felt victimized. When the trust is gone, we're left shocked, said MB&G President Steve Fairweather.

On Monday, the company did an electronics sweep of the entire building to see if there could be any more cameras. There was word on their findings.

Detectives are not aware of any additional victims but would like to hear from anyone with information that might assist in the investigation, Simpson said. Anyone with information should contact Detective Heidi Housley at (503) 823-1063.
