EUGENE, Ore. -- Considering the reality check No. 13 Oregon had against LSU, the Ducks certainly aren't taking Nevada lightly.

Ducks' linebacker Kiki Alonso was reinstated Friday, ahead of the first home game againstNevada Saturday, according to a release from the UP Athletics Dept.

Alonso, projected to be a starter this season, was suspended indefinitely after pleading guilty to misdemeanor charges of trespassing and criminal mischief. Alonso was arrested in early May after he broke into a home and fell asleep there.

Coach Chip Kelly ticked off Nevada's successes last season. The team went 13-1 with victories over Boise State and Cal. The Wolf Pack was ranked No. 11 in the final AP poll after beating Boston College in the Fight Hunger Bowl.

Nevada has won seven straight going into Saturday's game at Autzen Stadium.

Certainly none of the Ducks want to make that eight. Quarterback Darron Thomas agreed that Oregon needs to be wary because the Wolf Pack no doubt saw the Ducks lose 40-27 to LSU last weekend.

Because of the loss, Oregon plunged from No. 3 to No. 13 and the chances for a repeat national championship bid were dealt a blow.
