Lincoln hosts Grant on Friday, with the one and only playoff spot in their district on the line.

Over the summer, the Cardinals and Generals were taken out of the PIL, and placed in a Special Distict along with Redmond. In what is by far the smallest league in the OSAA, only one team makes the playoffs.

Lincoln and Grant are both 1-0 in district play, so the winner of this regular season finale, will move on to the postseason.

Its been a rough year for both teams.

Grant (4-3) has lost games that would normally have won in the past, falling to 5A Jefferson, and Heritage of Vancouver.

Lincoln (4-4) has fallen victim to a tough non-conference schedule, playing teams like Aloha, David Douglas, and Skyview of Vancouver.
