BEAVERTON -- Police arrested a man they say robbed a woman after hitting her in the head with a can of soda in Beaverton Saturday.

Samuel Paul, 38, allegedly attacked the woman at the Beaverton City Park while she worked at a food kiosk. Police said he grabbed the cash register, took some money, and ran off.

The woman was not seriously hurt.

Witnesses took pictures of the man getting into his car, which helped police track him down to a nearby apartment.

Paul was arrested and charged with robbery and assault.
