GRANTS PASS, Ore. -- A Grants Pass woman was tasered and arrested Tuesday after allegedly threatening three people with a stun gun and a hammer, police said.
Police were called just before 8 p.m. to a report of trespassing and menacing at a home in the 800 block of North Schoolhouse Creek Road, said Oregon State Police Lt. Gregg Hastings.
Responding troopers found 37-year-old Jacquelyn Kelly Novack threatening the occupants of the home, including her teenage son, with a hammer and a stun gun, Hastings said.
When contacted by the troopers, Novack demanded they shoot her as she displayed the stun gun, Hastings said. Troopers deployed a Taser and subdued her without further incident.
Novack was arrested and jailed for menacing and trespassing, as well as outstanding felony warrants from Josephine and Jackson counties.
