NORTH PLAINS, Ore. -- An arrest warrant has been issued for the suspect in a burglary and murder in a North Plains home last month..
Police were called December 12 to a home in the 24400 block of Northwest Pumpkin Ridge Road, where 51-year-old James Fronsman reported he had just come home and found his wife dead, said Sgt. Bob Ray of the Washington County Sheriff's Office.
The medical examiner later determined 50-year-old Theresa Fronsman had died from homicidal violence. Police believed her neighbor, 50-year-old Robert Hardison, was a witness and had information vital to the investigation, but they were unable to locate him.
Last Wednesday a warrant was issued for Hardison's arrest on charges of murder, aggravated murder and burglary.
The warrant alleges that Hardison was in the process of burglarizing the residence when he personally and intentionally caused the death of Theresa Fronsman. He was also accused of using a firearm during the commission of the crime.
Ray said deputies have not been able to locate Hardison since the crime was committed. Anyone with information was asked to call the WCSO at (503) 846-2500.
