A 47-year-old Seattle attorney pleaded not guilty Wednesday to charges that he raped and sexually attacked local massage therapists.
In King County Superior Court, Danford Grant pleaded not guilty to six criminal charges against him -- three counts of first degree rape, two counts of second degree rape, and one count of first degree burglary.
Grant is accused of five sexual assaults against four women since July. He's also accused of breaking into one of the victim's homes where she worked as a massage therapist in order to attack her.
Several victims picked Grant out of a police lineup. They claim he booked appointments as a client, but then threatened them with a knife while receiving a massage and raped them against their will.
He has been in jail since his arrest on September 24 and is being held on $3 million bail.
Police arrested Grant after a woman who works at Carnation Massage on NW85th Street inSeattle claimed she was attacked by the same man who raped her two weeks prior.
The woman said she did not report the first rape because she was afraid and humiliated.
According to Grant's LinkedIn profile, he is a partner at Seattle law firm Bailey Grant Onsager where he specializes in business tort and employment litigation.
