EUGENE, Ore. -- Sunset won the 4x400-meter relay to hold off Roseburg Saturday for the 6A boys team title at the OSAA track and field state meet at Hayward Field.

The Apollos, of Portland, finished with 58 points. Roseburg, which was second in the 4x400 relay was second with 55. Barlow was third with 51.

Aloha sophomore Thomas Tyner set a meet record in the 100 meters, running in 10.48 seconds. That ties the all-classification state record set by Ryan Bailey of McKay in 2007.

Jesuit got wins from Garmai Gorlorwulu (100 hurdles) and Jill Doyle (pole vault) to dominate the 6A girls competition. The Crusaders, of Portland, had 96 points to runner-up Gresham's 48.
