PORTLAND -- Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of a man who smashed his way into a Northeast Portland store in October.

The break-in happened on Oct. 27, 2013 at Gadget Fix on Northeast Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, according to police.

In a surprisingly clear surveillance video, cameras captured the man's entire crime. He first throws a rock through the store's glass door, enters, jumps behind the counter, steals a few items, leaves and then rides off on a bicycle.

The man was described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a medium build, wearing a baggy camouflage jacket and hat, dark-colored pants and a backpack, according Portland Police Detective Jeff Bender.

Crime Stoppers urged those with information to go online or to call 503-823-HELP (4357) and leave the tip information.
