PORTLAND -- Police released a sketch Wednesday of a man who has been exposing himself to kids in Northeast Portland.

The man was most recently spotted Tuesday, exposing himself to a child outside of a home near Northeast 45th Avenue and Stanton Street at 4:45 p.m., said Sgt. Pete Simpson of Portland police.

According to the victim, the suspect ran northbound on 45th avenue, stopped in front of the house and exposed himself, then ran eastbound on Stanton Street.

On Tuesday of last week, the same suspect exposed himself to a woman who was jogging near Northeast 29th Avenue and Northeast Stanton Street.

In other reports from January, the man approached kids who were around 10 to 12 years old and exposed himself to them from the street or on the sidewalk, Simpson said.

The victims told police the man would pull down his boxers or expose himself through the opening in his underwear before running away. In some reports, the man had some type of cloth or boxer shorts covering the lower half of his face (pictured).

The suspect was described as a white man in his 30s or 40s, about 5-foot-8 and chubby, with dark hair and a short, scruffy beard. He was wearing a white T-shirt, white socks, white shoes and blue boxer shorts.

He may have been associated with light-colored, large American sedan, Simpson said.

On Monday morning, several people reported seeing him running around a Northeast Portland neighborhood without any pants on, police said.
