PORTLAND -- Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a couple they allege robbed a Portland cab driver at gunpoint.

Police released surveillance images to the public Thursday to help with the investigation.

The couple robbed a Broadway Cab driver on Jan. 8 at approximately 12:15 a.m. around Southeast 157th Avenue, police said.

The driver was not injured.

Crime Stoppers described the suspects as an African American male, 19, 5 foot 11 inches tall, with a thin build; and, an African American female in her early 20s, 5 feet 5 inches tall, and 140 pounds.

Crime Stoppers offered a $1,000 for information leading to an arrest. They said informants can remain anonymous.
