PORTLAND -- Police were called to a shooting at Southeast Powell Boulevard and Southeast 134th Avenue Wednesday morning, but found no victims.
Officers responded just after 11 a.m. to the report of a shooting and a person down. They found evidence that shots were fired, but no victims at the scene, according to the Portland Police Bureau.
Neighbors reported people running through nearby yards after the shots were fired, so a large containment area was set up for hours along Powell Boulevard, between 135th and 121st avenues.
At least two people were detained by police and later released.
