PORTLAND -- The victim of an apparent gang shooting Northeast Portland walked into a hospital early Friday morning, police said.
Officers called just before 2:30 a.m. to the report of shots fired at Northeast 102nd Avenue and Northeast Prescott Street found blood at the scene, but no victims, said Portland police Sgt. Chuck Lovell.
Hospital staff notified police that a gunshot victim had arrived with minor injuries. The victim was conscious and able to speak with investigators, Lovell said.
A gang enforcement team was investigating.
