PORTLAND -- Ten shar-peis dogs have been removed from the care of a Goldendale man who pleaded guilty last month to animal cruelty charges.

The dogs arrived Thursday at the Oregon Humane Society. They will be treated for skin infections and eye problems.

Once the shar-peis are healthy, they'll be ready for adoption.

Last May, 41 other shar-peis were removed from this same breeder. The man is now on probation for five years and can't have any more than two shar-peis that are not able to reproduce.
