PORTLAND -- The driver of the semi-truck that rolled along Southeast 82nd Drive Thursday has been cited in the accident.
The Peterbilt semi was exiting I-205 at about 8 a.m. when a load of railroad ties shifted on the trailer and the truck rolled onto its side, said Brandon Paxton of Clackamas Fire. Investigators later determined that the railroad ties were improperly loaded onto the trailer.
The railroad ties struck another semi and a car as they fell.
The driver of the Peterbilt was identified asBrandon Moore, 21, of Estacada. He was treated and released from Kaiser Sunnyside Hospital after having to be cut out of the vehicle.
The occupants of the other two vehicles were not injured, Paxton said.
Moore was later cited for failure to retain a log book.
