PORTLAND -- Chain link fencing has been removed at Lownsdale and Chapman square parks in downtown Portland after repairs from the lengthy Occupy Portland encampment.

Areas being reseeded remain fenced off, likely until May, said Portland Parks officials. Restrooms remain closed for repairs for several more months.

The final cost of the repairs remains unknown but an early estimate put the figure at $85,000.
