PORTLAND An employee who was allegedly robbed at knifepoint at a Southeast Portland video poker store Wednesday said she bit the suspect in the arm.

The employee told police that Jamie Musgrove, 32, entered Johnny s at 8230 SE Harrison St. just before noon armed with a knife, said Sgt. Pete Simpson of Portland police.

The victim said Musgrove grabbed money out of the register and, during a struggle, she bit Musgrove in the arm.

Musgrove ran out of the store but officers located her after a search of the area, Simpson said. She was charged with first-degree robbery and taken to the Multnomah County Jail.
