VANCOUVER An Orchards area business owner is hoping that some crystal-clear surveillance video can lead deputies to the men who broke into his place early Wednesday morning.

In the video, a man in a red and gray sweatshirt shatters the front window of Smokin J s pipe shop with a cinder before pushing the broken glass down.

The two crooks then jumped inside the shop just after 1 a.m., but they only stayed for a few seconds before leaving empty-handed.

Owner Jay Fratt said his alarm system likely scared them off.

There are repercussions to your actions and I think it s pretty clear were going to catch one of the guys, and that might lead to the other.

Anyone who recognizes the burglars is asked to call the Clark County Sheriff s Office.
