GRESHAM, Ore -- A man walking his daughters to the school bus confronted a man who was exposing himself in his car and punched him, police said Tuesday.

JeremyClousewas walking with his two daughters to a school bus stop around 10:10 a.m. Tuesday along the 2900 block of Northeast 18th Court when he saw a strange man inside a car watching nearby children.

He was looking at them funny, said Clouse.

Clouse approached the car and saw that the man was masturbating. When confronted, the suspect giggled, according to Lt. Claudio Grandjean of the Gresham Police Department.

The father responded by punching the man in the face, which stopped both the giggling and the sexual behavior, Grandjean said.

My hand still hurts, added Clouse. Ibet he hurts a lot worse.

The suspect then drove off. He was described as a light skinned Hispanic male, about 180 pounds with fresh bruising on the left side of his jaw or eye, Grandjean said.

The man was driving a gray, four-door Nissan Sentra with a car-dealer insert where the license plate should be, police said.

Grandjean asked anyone with information about the case to call Gresham police at (503) 618-2719.

Nobody needs this in any neighborhood, Clouse said.
