PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- Ryan Nall ran for 196 yards and three touchdowns and Central Catholic won its first state football title in 60 years as the Rams defeated Jesuit 38-28 Saturday in the OSAA Class 6A championship game.

The Oregon State-bound Nall ripped off touchdown runs of 24, 49 and 90 yards to lead the Rams to their third state title in school history. Nall had only 11 carries, and also an interception on defense.

Central Catholic (14-0) bludgeoned Jesuit with 320 yards on the ground. Cameron Scarlett ran 10 times for 80 yards and a touchdown for the Rams.

Jesuit (11-3) also featured a running game, as junior Chase Morrison ran 43 times for 217 yards and three touchdowns. The five-time state champion Crusaders were shooting for their first championship since 2006.
