VANCOUVER -- A man who attempted to rob a Vancouver adult video store Monday evening might be responsible two similar robberies, police said.

Officers were called just before 9 p.m. to the report of an attempted robbery inside Taboo Video, at 4811 NE 94th Ave., according to a Vancouver Police Department statement.

The clerk told officers a white man wearing dark clothing went into the store with a note demanding money and implying he had a bomb. The clerk did not hand over any money and the suspect left on foot.

Police searched the area with the help of a K-9 unit, but did not find the suspect. Surveillance photos (above) were released Tuesday.

Investigators believe he could be involved in two similar Vancouver robberies within the past few weeks. Anyone with information on the robberies or the suspect was asked to call the Vancouver Police Department.
