ROSEBURG, Ore. -- The Douglas County sheriff's office says someone has been calling people in the Myrtle Creek area and telling them to prepare to evacuate due to wildfires.

The sheriff's office says the calls are bogus and apparently some type of scam.

The Douglas County sheriff's office says there is no evacuation order in that area.
